Chu 3 walking 3 km

Well, it's a great way to celebrate the 3rd day of chinese new year. Maybe it still confuses u, what 3km? The story goes like this:
We were planning to go eat sushi in Brunei again at night this time. We never go at night. So then we drive to the custom there. It still went smoothly until after like 5 minutes drive, !@#$%^&*!!!!!!!!!!! Out of total darkness around, the only thing we can see was never ending row of car there. Jammed......you cant see the end. After like 10 minutes...IT'S STILL NOT MOVING!!!!!!! !@#$%^&*(
So my sis and I decided to walk down and see what izit about...We keep walking and walking (that time no one wants to come down and walk, WE ARE THE FIRST ONE!!! LOL...so 38) and people in those cars keep staring at us. Some are watching movie in their car. Some turning the volume of radio to maximum to calm themselves down. They must be thinking: Wth are they doing, walking on heels and skirts in total darkness like this...

Who cares, we keep walking..after half an hour, my leg blisters. But at last, we reached the end....My brother estimated we walked for 2 or 3km like that for more than half an hour, on heels...haha...

We saw police's lights and many people there. There's crane and big lorries...omg..wth happened....
Then we walked closer...

!@#$%^&*( IT'S ONLY A !@#$%^ SMALL HOLE ON THE ROAD! It can be covered by a few packs of soil, yet they are using a few cranes and lorries....just to covered that !@#$% small hole..they are blocking the main road at peak hour like 7pm! wth.....

So we went to brunei, trapped in the traffic jam for an hour and turned back. What a trip...

p/s: I will upload the GREAT photos to show you how small it is when i got it from my sis..hehehe
pp/s: I wonder what will happen if it's tanah runtuh like ours? Perhaps the road may be closed for a few days or months??? @#$% small hole!@#$ jkr brunei!@#$%.....hahahaha....

Four Seasons Kong Pia!

Doesnt this seems too familiar for us? (especially people from sibu) Kong Pia. The smell of sesame seeds and the hardness of this biscuit.....Having it around us since we were just couple of feets tall.

I never bother much about how it is made, just took one and put into the mouth. It's really nice whether with meat or just plain. The hardness is what made it so unique. Until a few days ago...I saw this shop...
Si Ji Siang biscuit shop. It was just a tiny shop not even 20 metres square i guess. Very crowded with stuffs..then i take a closer look.... KONG PIA!!!!
The most tradisional way of making it...with a charcoal oven like this...
in the process of making it...
the doughs..
This is the tauke. A young man with strong arms busy taking the kong pia out as fast as possible, afraid that they were burnt...He is a shy man i guess with all the asking, he only said a few words and smile. He didnt bother much about how he looks in front of the camera, just continue his works and smile whenever i snap. It's oven-hot there.
How many young man like him would sacrifice his time and wake up at 3am in the morning for the sake of making kong pia?Well, i ate a few. Then i realised, KONG PIA ISNT HARD when it just came out of the oven! How..amazing..(it seems so sakai) It very soft and the smell of the sesame seeds was even stronger. it's simply perfect.......
Well, not much people could made kong pia in such tradisional way nowadays....So next time, when you want to eat KONG PIA, try having the freshly baked ones, no, the tradisionally-freshly baked ones, you'll be surprised. trust me. :)

On the road back, landslides?floods?

On the road back to sibu......baobei fa dai...renung...day dream...
day dream more and then sleep..and then day dream more....luckily he wont pee or poo...
day dreammm......
cam whore with him....
bao bei's teddy...
